Manitoba’s Lab Information System (LIS)

As the first step in planning for a provincial LIS solution, The Beausejour Health Centre Laboratory has successfully implemented the Delphic LIS in October 2009 and now has the first fully functional LIS outside of Winnipeg or Brandon. Work continues to create a provincial LIS network for DSM.

A provincial laboratory information system is a critical success factor for DSM. With all Winnipeg DSM labs connected through the LIS, the foundation has been set for numerous other projects to standardize and improve workflow and data.
