ANATOMIC PATHOLOGISTS
FULL-TIME POSITIONS
WINNIPEG and BRANDON, MANITOBA (CANADA)

Diagnostic Services of Manitoba (DSM) and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for several full time Pathologist positions. The successful applicants will join a collegial practice group of over 60 laboratory physicians and scientists that provides comprehensive diagnostic surgical pathology and cytology services.

DSM is the not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba's public laboratory services and for rural diagnostic imaging services. DSM is an independent, but publically funded organization and is affiliated with the University of Manitoba. The successful candidates may be eligible to apply for an appointment with the University of Manitoba – Department of Pathology.

Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor
- Eligibility for licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba
- Eligibility to sit the Royal College examination in either Anatomical or General Pathology in the Province of Manitoba.

DSM provides an excellent remuneration package including, relocation assistance and educational reimbursement plus benefits.

Manitoba is a culturally diverse province of 1,184,600. The capital of Manitoba is Winnipeg. DSM’s Pathology laboratories are located in Winnipeg and Brandon, the two largest centres. Winnipeg and Brandon are located 125 miles apart in the southern province and are very close to the United States border.

Winnipeg, the geographic centre of North America, is a culturally diverse city with a population of over 732,600 people of diverse backgrounds who bring an international and cosmopolitan flare to the city as well as a feeling of community. Manitoba is rich in its arts, festivals and events, professional sport teams and natural beauty.

Brandon, Manitoba’s second largest city, offers big-city luxuries and small town appeal. Brandon, abundance in its beauty, is just minutes from national and provincial parks. Brandon’s population is approximately 43,000 and growing.
