DSM is recruiting for the permanent full-time position of General Duty Ultrasound Technologist for DSM’s Ultrasound Department at Thompson Hospital.

Under the general supervision of the Charge Technologist, the incumbent will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations including technologic services.

Interested applicants must be graduates of an approved Ultrasonography education program, be eligible for or certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in all general duty scanning, and active registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS). Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiography Technologists is an asset. Previous related experience is preferred.

Anticipated Shifts: Days/Evenings; 38.75 hrs weekly; 7.75-hour shifts
Salary: $31.565 - $36.598 per hour, as per MAHCP contract

Relocation assistance may be provided subject to return of service

This position requires a satisfactory Security Check and Child Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
