DSM is recruiting for the permanent full-time position of General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist for DSM’s Laboratory Department at Swan River Valley Hospital.

Under the general supervision of the Charge Technologist, the incumbent performs assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. The incumbent provides direct patient/resident care and the technical, administrative and operational support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery and other duties as assigned.

Interested applicants must be graduates of an approved and accredited Medical Laboratory Technology training program. Registration with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences (CSMLS) is preferred. Current “active practicing” registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba is required.

Anticipated Shifts: Days/Evenings/Nights; 38.75 hrs weekly; 7.75-hour shifts
Salary: $25.508 - $32.000 per hour, as per MGEU contract

This position requires a satisfactory Security Check and Child Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
